Charles A. Strackbein runs an innovative and trendsetting design studio for the entrepreneur who is discouraged by the Thoughtless, mass-produced quality of work commonly found on crowdsourcing platforms forms. I aim to provide the personalized, quality craftsmanship your project deserves, but without the price margins of large design agencies with lots of overhead to account for.
Brand is not what you think, Brand is what they think. Lets give them something attractive and memorable to think about
WORKINGS OF THE UNIVERSE
GRAPHIC ANALOGIES
There are design objectives, principles and best practices. There are not any particular rules. We find what we are looking for in proximate range of that dynamic. - Charles A. Strackbein 2009
Sacred Geometry of the Nautilus Shell.
Over 500M years old.
Sacred Geometry is a term used to describe the basic building blocks of the universe. This ancient science explores and explains the physical and energy patterns that create and unify all things and reveals the way that the Universe of creation organizes itself. Every natural pattern of growth or movement conforms inevitably to one or more geometric shapes. From the molecules of our DNA to the galaxy we spiral within, life and it's forms emerge out of geometric codes.
Vitruvian Symbol of a Universal Human
20-30 BC.
The workings of the human body can be an analogy for the workings of the universe.
Vitruvius believed in a focus of three central themes when preparing a design: firmitas (strength), utilitas (functionality), and venustas (beauty). But the theory of venustas (or beauty) is a very complicated one.
Vitruvius thought that a timeless notion of beauty could be learnt from the 'truth of nature', that nature's designs were based on universal laws of proportion and symmetry.
The Vitruvian Symbol of a Universal Human represents the beauty, complexity, and symmetry of the human frame. It also represents the art, science and philosophy of the medical field and attempts to relate humans to nature.
Design is the creation of a plan or process for the construction of an object, system or measurable interaction.
Designing is a process that includes the consideration of aesthetic, taste, grace, function, economic and socio-politic dimensions of the design idea, design process and final design(s) / plan(s).
The design may involve considerable planning, conceptual thought, research, development, modeling, interactive adjustment, and re-design often before preparation of the design package, documents, collateral and operating manuals.
Creativity is coupled with design and is a part of the process in creating and maintaining your brand.
Design is a plan and designing is a process of creating the plan. We design plans and plans exhibit and often utilize their design.
Creativity, design, brand and branding, public relations and marketing are inherently a shared and group process. Team participation is a must.
The intention is everyone from you & your employees to your customers and beyond “buy into” the brand.

The first step is to begin gathering information about your industry and your competitors so I can get a feel for what we can do to not only make you stand out, but also appeal to the avatar of your ideal customer/client.
This is where the rubber meets the road. In this phase, I’ll begin the design exploration process, putting my 7 years of professional experience to work coming up with a variety of design ideas to present to you. I can take your ideas and requests (if any) into consideration, and I’ll also suggest some ideas of my own as well.
Once we’ve gone over some of the initial mock-ups, we’ll narrow down our choices, bounce some feedback off of each other, make any necessary alterations and work to achieve a single, refined, perfected design that you think would best represent your business.
Once the design is completed and your new logo has been decided on, it’s time for me to start producing all of the necessary files and variations, including editable source vectors, monotone alternates, and every format you could possibly ever need for a logo. If you don’t know what any of this is, don’t worry. You’ll be given thorough explanations.
All of the finalized files will be bundled up and sent over along with release of ownership and a manual explaining all of the formats and how they can best be used. And I’ll always be available if you ever have questions about your logo or run into any problems with it.
We offer design services from logos and brand development to marketing materials and digital content and assets, architectural concepts and design development management and more. Just ask us, let us know what your interested in and I bet we can come up with innovative solutions and trendsetting designs.
